E640 BRS: Information
E640 BRS was new to Northern Scottish in 1987 as NCT40, based at Macduff depot. She was the last Leyland Tiger with TC coach body delivered to Northern and indeed the Scottish Bus Group.
In the late 1990's she was transfered to the JW coaches fleet until 2001 when she was purchased by Strathtay. Sometime before heading to Strathtay she was refurbished, which included a reconditioned engine, reconditioned gearbox and was reupholstered into Stagecoach moquette. During her time at Strathtay she was allocated to Montrose depot until the mid 2000's whe she was transfered to Forfar then Meffans of Kirriemuir for School Contract work.
In October 2008 she was bought by a company in Shropshire for semi retirement, but due to other commitments she was sold again, this time to Kelvin Valley Coaches for school contract work, she was withdrawn from service on the 12th of December.
